What is HexNote?

HexNote is a free desktop wiki that stores your documents as markdown files on your own Google Drive. You own your data forever. No subscriptions, no vendor lock-in, no surprise deletions.

If Atlassian can delete your entire workspace for not logging in within a certain amount of time, you don't own your data. HexNote fixes that.

How It Works

1. Sign in with your Google account

2. Pick a Google Drive folder to use as your workspace

3. Write and edit documents locally (they stay as drafts)

4. Click Publish to push to Drive as markdown files

5. Collaborators join the workspace and see published pages
